Getting started
How do I get a quote?
Call or text Henry on 0481 677 909. Tell him which suburb you’re in and what needs doing — a couple of photos by text helps — and he’ll give you a price.
Is it better to call or text?
Whichever suits you. If Henry is on the tools and can’t pick up, leave a message or send a text and he’ll get back to you.
What areas do you cover?
We work across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs — Mont Albert, Surrey Hills, Canterbury, Box Hill and the suburbs around them. If you’re not sure whether we come out your way, ask Henry.
Who will actually turn up?
Henry, Hamish or both of us, depending on the job. HP Gardening is just the two of us, so there’s never anyone else.
The work
What do you do?
Do you do one-off jobs, or only regular visits?
Both. A single tidy-up or hedge trim is fine, and so is regular garden care. Tell Henry what you’re after.
Do you take the green waste away?
Yes. Anything we cut, pull or rake up goes with us. We can also take garden waste you’ve already piled up.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes — mower, line trimmer, hedge trimmer and blower. All we need is access to the garden.
My garden is badly overgrown. Will you take it on?
Yes. That’s where our motto comes from. Send Henry a photo or two and he’ll tell you what it will take.
On the day
Do I need to be home?
Not as long as we can get into the garden. Let Henry know about gates, pets or anything else we should be aware of.
What happens if it rains?
If the weather would make the job unsafe or make a mess of the lawn, Henry will be in touch to find another time.
